In this mode the vessel can achieve the high transit speeds of a catamaran ferry, cutting transit times to around 25% of the normal time for a supply boat, saving money and project time.

The vessel deploy boats for wind tower maintenance or transfer personnel to platforms or wind towers in calm weather. But, when the sea gets up and the wave and swell prevent any normal vessel operating, the Submersible Hull Catamaran transforms into a semi submersible and remains stable in stationary DP operations or slow speed survey or installation operations such as cable laying.
